Hi, im trying to figure out hos to use the RP48 rotary encoders for adjusting CRS, Heading Bug, VSI and IAS bug (AW109, nemeth designs), and also use the pushbuttons for gear, DME on/off, park, landing light, and some autopilot on/off buttons.. I managed to make a profile, and got the CRS and gear working, but next time i opened it, and loaded the profile, it didn't work.

Would you recommend to use FSUIPC or Goflight config? (dont seem to work very well....)

the manual does not say anything about my issues..

I use FSX, Win7 and FSUIPC4

I have a TQ6 with the 737 throttles attached and the #2 throttle, while not physically moving, is all over the place in FSX. I have it calibrate through Windows and even there the values are constantly moving. I have tried calibration through FSUIPC axis assignment but again as I move the throttle up the value becomes very erratic.

I also am having the same issue with the Flaps lever too.

New GoFlight plugin for X-Plane 10

Hi all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new GoFlight plugin for X-Plane 10. It doesn't rely on any of the SDK provided by GoFlight, which will make it easier for me to institute cross-platform compatibility when that time comes. The plugin came out of beta recently and supports four module types so far (MCPPRO, RP48, T8, LGTII). As I get my hands on different GoFlight modules, I will add support. So please let me know if you have some modules you want to get rid of! I want to make GoFlight more accessible for X-Plane users, as it really enhances the experience.

Lastly, the difference between my plugin and the existing GoFlight plugin for X-Plane is that my plugin provides support for ANY aircraft including payware/custom creations like the JRollon CRJ-200, FlyJSim Boeing 727, and the EADT x737. The existing GoFlight plugin for X-Plane only works with aircraft using default datarefs and commands.

Since the new FSUIPC version, I have big problems : when I fly with the Wilco Airbus (evolution 1 and 2), every 2 or 3 minutes the autothrottle is disengaged. When I look at the configuration, every thing is OK. Any solution???

but there is no software disks found in the box.

the modules is Goflight WP-6 and ATC controller modules and cannot found the drivers to two modules.

Hi guys, where in the FSUIPC under buttons and switches is the autothrottle disengage? Can find autothrottle arm and TOGA (already programmed through FSX settings). What are you using? I have autothrottle arm on my saitek panel.

Hello folks I have a problem.

Im running W7 64 b , 3770k@ 4.6 , 2gtx 285 vid, 2 terra,.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled your updated driver and I cannot get it to work.

I made sure that all old drivers were were dumped.

Reloaded the latest driver and for some reason it will not load onto FSX.

When you load new software FSX will give you a warning to accept.

I don't even get that FSX reconizes it, FSX just loads with out any ok , and of course it does not work , I even loaded older drivers and nothing loads onto FSX.

I have had these units for several years now and I cannot fly without them.

What am I doing wrong here , I also load as administrator , in fact that's with everything.

I know the driver is working in the beginning because I can program the buttons after I load the driver onto w7, and of course I restart the computer

but after I start FSX it will not ask for permission for the new driver.

I have donre this several times and nothing.

Is there now a proper way of loading new drivers/.

And what would be the best driver for these units.

Hello folks sorry for the duplicate post in discussions but I could not edit the post after I posted it , had a new problem .

I have down loaded the updated and older software , and I cannot get it to work , been using it for years with Level D 767

I have a GF- 166a and GF-MCP advanced , I cannot get FSX to see it.

And now I have a new problem when I load your software up and try to configure all that is in the set up is the default, there was always a section for the level d and a couple of others.

What am I doing wrong.........Thanks....Robert

I know i'm late coming to the party, but I have just started setting up FS X. I have a TQ6 and need some help setting it up in FS X. In FS 2002 and FS 2004 I just pasted in the code from Go flight into the DEVICES.Cfg file. There is no such .cfg in FS X. What do I do? The flaps, speed brake and reversers do not work. Also only one throttle lever works and controls both engines. Although the TQ6 shows up in the FS X contols dialogue boxes. HELP!!!

GF-166 Possible to get COM1 on left and NAV1 on right?

Hi all, I just bought my first GoFlight units and love them. However I'd like to be able to replicate the Carenado Cessna C185 radio setup on FSX.

There doesn't seem to be a config so that I can have the left side of my GF-166 showing COM1 while the right side shows NAV1. I would then want to have the left and right buttons select COM1 and NAV1 respectively to activate the rotary knob.

Is this possible?

Trying to get m yGoFlight Airliner system working, but the 3 radio modules are not showing up the the GF config tool...

I keep getting "Driver not recognized" when i try to reconnect the usb cord.

I'm flying a PMDG737-900 in FS2004 using Project Magenta.

The Speed value on the GoFlight MCP Pro remains visible when in VNAV mode. According to various manuals it shouldn't be. Only when the SPD INTV button is pressed should it become visible. Despite pressing that button it makes no difference. But, on the Project Magenta MCP display the speed is correctly hidden until the SPD INTV button on the PM MCP is pressed.

Appreciate your thoughts.

I have a mate in USA who flies IL2 and I am a SFX simmer. I would like to fly online using my GF units or at least buttons.

I have tried just allocating various buttons and swithes from yokes and pedals and some work by default BUT they are not reliable.

Will GF key mapper work with Windows 7 ?

Is this the best thing to use for my purpose please.

Modules suddenly stop working

Hello,

I started my computer (Win7 X64 and P3d) and three of the modules won't work. all leds keep burning, they are not recognized in the Goflight! config manager. The leds keeps burning even as the computer is down. Changed te USB hub, cables, tried it on another computer, the problem remains. Other modules connected to the same USB hub still works fine.

Is it possible that three modules (GF-P8, RP48 and GF-T8) break down at the same time?????

GF166 radio freezes

While using the GF 166 with the NGX, the left display goes blank, the right display shows a frequency, the radio itself is unresponsive. I use the PMDG interface for my MCP pro, thats running fine.

Go Flight units stop working after I restart Flight Sim X

When I start FSX my Go Flight units are started automatically . If I come out of FSX and restart FSX the units do not work. I have discovered if I take the usb cable out of the rear of the unit and reconnect it the units work again but I did not think this would be a good habit to get into.

I did not notice on my previous computer the module to start the Go Flight asked every time I started flight sim whereas now on my current computer it starts automatically. Is there a way to have the Go Flight software to ask every time I start the Flight sim as i think this may resolve the problem I am having. Thank-you

GoFlight MCP and Project Magenta

I have been given a GoFlight MCP Pro. I currently use the Australian Aerosoft 747MCP which I've had for 10 years and this can 'communicate' with Project Magenta's MCP software.

Is it possible for the GoFlight MCP to link to the MCP in Project Magenta and if so, how? I've already been told by Project Magenta staff they cannot link to the GoFlight MCP which is disappointing.

mcp is showing 3000ft MCP Pro Advanced is showing 10000ft same with the Ifly 737 NG, if flying a prop aircraft mcp shows correct
