TQ6 Flaps Issue

I recently did a full re-install of FS9 and all addons. Since then, whenever I operate the flap handle, it causes severe rudder inputs as well - usually, full right. I've tried calibrations and removing rudder controls from the FS9 controls menu, but no joy.  Any suggestions?

    I use the default FS/Windows calibration.  I just removed the assignment for that lever in the GF.cfg utility, recalibrated, and it seems to have cleared up the rudder problem.  For some reason, starting yesterday, the rudder kept going hard to the right. If I kick it back with the pedals, it stays for a few seconds, and goes back to the right. (using Saitek pedals).  After removing the flap handle assignment, that issue has gone away.  Back to using keyboard or mouse to cycle flaps, for now.
  • Axis assignemnts can be made with the flight sim itself, GFConfig AND FSUIPC! Notice the word "AND".

    I have a register version of FSUIPC so I don't make any assignments using FS or GFConfig. That way I only have to go to one place to make changes.

    If your having trouble with FS making axis/button assignments, there is a
    trick you can do that requires manually editing the FS.cfg file.

    [JOYSTICK_MAIN {3423EBF0-D45D-11DE-8001-444553540000}]
    AXIS_EVENT_00=0
    AXIS_SCALE_00=0
    AXIS_NULL_00=0
    [JOYSTICK_SLEW {3423EBF0-D45D-11DE-8001-444553540000}]
    AXIS_EVENT_00=0
    AXIS_SCALE_00=0
    AXIS_NULL_00=0

    The example above will prevent FS9/FSX from making assignments because there ARE assignments, they just don't do anything.
