Hello gents,
I have a MCP-Pro that, when connected to FSX has, to say the least, a strange behaviour. When I turn, for instance, the altitude knob, the digits don’t flow in smooth way. For instance, from 34000feet to 24000ft the number scrolling isn’t constant. They show 34… 33… 32…34… 31… 28 … 30 ….
Same goes with all other knobs.
This same MCP-Pro worked fine in FS9.
I have downloaded the latest (I guess) version of GoFlight software and installed and run it as admin.
My specs are:
Win7 pro 64
FSX with acceleration pack
Mobo P8P67 WS Revolution
I7 2700K processor
16GB RAM
Video ATI RADEON 6970 2GB
Also, I have several other GoFlight modules namely GF-166 x 2, GF-46, GF-T8 and GF-RP48.
All GoFlight hardware worked fine with FS9 and Win XP, on other machine that has been replaced.
Any help or suggestion will bee, for sure, appreciated….
Cheers,
Daniel

Tks for your anser but the X acceleration pack has, already, SP2 on it....
Cheers,
Slow or fast, they jump forward and backwsards in a random order.
The speed the numbers increases doesn't match the speed you
turn the knob.
As i told before dercreasing from, lets say, 32000ft to 10000ft, altough
the speed i turn the knob is constant, the numbers don't progress in a
constant manner. They go like this: 32... 31... 28... 29.... 25 ... 24...27..
and so on...
Cheers,
Skittles,
I don't think so because it does that with all the MCP-Pro Knobs... And it works ok with FS9, in other computer.
I suspect that it might be the interface between MCP and FSX... It is rather impossible to fly on-line with such behaviour as I can't comply, in a timely manner, with ATC instructions....
Cheers,
Hello John,
Tks for your answer.
So this is a known issue, I suppose….
In
fact, my firmware is version A19 as I, as told in the forum, I’m a long time
GoFlight user that has just migrated to FSX.
Email on it's way ....
