GF-RP48 OBS setting

Hi, I have set up the GF-RP48 module with the rotary knobs to control the OBS on the C172. They work fine for rotating the OBS card in fine increments of one degree. But when I need to rotate the card 30 or more degrees it goes much too slow and it takes too many rotations of the knob. How can I adjust the settings to get both, fine control and larger control. I think a setting of one and ten degrees should work.

Thank you,

Ed

Did you set both the fast and slow rotates?

I should have asked if you were using FSUIPC registered.

FSUIPC is a very powerful tool and suggest you read a few tutorials or FAQs on its uses. There should be some manuals under your FSX or 9 /modules/fsuipc/manual folder.

  • Hi Ohsirus,

Can you please direct me to were that setting is or how I set that?  I did not see that capability when I set the rotary knobs.

    Thanks, Ed

  • No I am not.  I have heard of it and actually downloaded it but I'm not that familiar with using it.
  • I understand it is very usefull so I will get the registered version.

Is this were I make those setting for fast and slow?  Will this cause the rotary know to have both settings and due either depending on how fast the knob is rotated?

  • I meant "knob "instead of "know" and "do" instead of "due"
  • I am purchasing FSUIPC right now and will give it a try.

    Thanks for you help Ohsirus,

    Ed

  • Excellent. Thanks!
  • I guess these are settings I put in under FSUIPC?
